Day 6

It's a good day so far with a few teams still out doing ministry. During the ESL university teaching there were at least 4 people that came to faith in Jesus, one of those being a teacher. Several of our students were able to share their testimony in how they came to faith. Two Peruvians were moved to tears as God was using our students to draw these to Himself. Later in the day one team taught 400 children at once, sharing testimonies and Scripture. After the hour of teaching one little girl came up to our interpreter and asked how she could be saved. She gave her life to Jesus right there.

Before this trip began we emphasized 3 things: Depend on the Holy Spirit to work through us, be flexible, and be unified as a team. These students have done all three to the highest level. God is using them like crazy! Some are sick from altitude and plans often change at the last minute but they are still rejoicing and thankful to God. The team is unified and loving one another too. It's awesome to see a community of believers come together for such a mission and love Jesus so much.

One student today ate ginny (guinea) pig and somehow came back to the hotel with the pig's foot/claw. It kinda grossed me out but he thinks it's cool. All is well here. I'll try and post a few pics later tonight.

--pray for Karis and Angela as they aren't feeling too well.
--pray for these new believers today.
--pray we finish well tomorrow as it's our last day in the mountains.
