Prayer Requests

We will be traveling to Huancayo, Peru, about 140 miles east of the capital city Lima. Huancayo is in the mountains at an elevation of 11,700 feet. Pray for our lungsJ. We will break into 4 teams during the day for ministry in the city and nearby villages. The ministry projects will be teaching in schools, using conversational English, working with youth and children, and assisting church plants.

A few prayer requests as we prepare and go:

· That we would be the presence of Jesus to all people we come in contact with—from the airline stewardess to the Peruvian children.
· That we would live in accordance with the Spirit and have our minds set on what the Spirit desires. (Romans 8:5)
· That our team will be unified. (John 17:20-23)
· That God will use our words, smiles, and efforts to change lives. (For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction. 1 Thessalonians 1:4-5)
· Pray for safety and that everyone is sick free
