Day 7

Everyone that was sick seems to be doing a lot better. Everyone is out and about doing ministry, eating, etc.

Tonight is our last night in Huancayo so there are big gatherings with the ppl we have been working with all week. One party is at the Baptist Church, one at the University, and one at a village. We hope to see a lot of Peruvians come out for these parties. The ESL university team should have about 200 college students there and we hear there will be a TV crew to broadcast our BCM students sharing the gospel. They will do an invitation to follow Jesus tonight so be praying for that.

My team finished painting the city hall in a village. The president of the village was so excited and grateful to see it. We gave him a Bible too. The missionaries here hope to share the Jesus film in this building to the village ppl soon. Serving ppl like Jesus did goes a long way. 3 days ago when we began to paint the building the construction workers were pretty rude and crass to us. After painting their village's building today they were shaking our hands, thanking us, and wanting pictures with us in front of the painted building. Maybe they will come see the Jesus film when it is shown there :)

I'll probably update later tonight. Thank you so much for your prayers, we sense them.

Peter
